You know what works really well on that wide space on the side of a wide-screen monitor? The Taskbar!Īlso you can even make it wide enough so that you can read out the file names that are open without having to mouse over it when you do this.īut nope, they've got to make an Apple-like dock out of the Taskbar, or probably more accurately, strpping it down like Chrome OS. I guess this is the Windows ME version of this era? I mean they don't need to BECOME Apple here. When the dev was leaked it was speculated that this was just due to the activation customization lock, but it seems that it's 100% intentional per the notes of deprecated features, as under Taskbar it says that it's staying at the bottom of your screen forever, no moving it, tough luck.
